Tyra Banks Trends on Twitter Again Following Resurfaced ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Clip
Tyra Banks just can’t seem to catch a break from her past. Twitter users reacted to the former supermodel’s behavior after a video of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ resurfaces.
On Thursday night, Tyra became a trending topic on Twitter after a series of clips from her former TV show reappeared on the platform.
Many users claimed Tyra was “exploiting” the contestants. While others were upset at how the judges mistreated and made fun of the upcoming talent’s appearances.
The popular reality series premiered in 2003 and gained 24 seasons before finally ending the show in 2018. Each season gathered fourteen aspiring models to compete in various challenges, with hopes of winning a cash prize and earning the title as ‘America’s Next Top Model.’
Despite many people believing the series was toxic and wasn’t helpful to the rising models, there’s been a handful of contestants who’s benefited from their time on the show.
Season 3 winner Eva Marcille is probably the most recognized superstar from the show. Since winning her season, Eva has went on to grace the cover of plenty magazines, starred in big-named campaigns, television shows, films and even scored her own radio show and podcast.
