Brisbane accident: Police officer in car crash while responding to job with lights and sirens on
A police officer has been taken to hospital as a precaution after a crash in Brisbane on Sunday.
A police and civilian vehicle collided at the intersection of Beams Rd and Handford Road, Zillmere, just after 11am. A woman in her 40s, the sole occupant of the civilian vehicle, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The police officer was hospitalised as a precaution. It’s understood the police vehicle was responding to a priority job and had its lights and sirens on.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation. Witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision, are urged to come forward.
