Jacqueline Fernandez was born on August 11, 1985, in Manama, Bahrain. She grew up in a family with people of different races. Elroy Fernandez, her father, is from Sri Lanka, and Kim, her mother, is from Malaysia and Canada. Her great-grandparents were from Goa, India, and her maternal grandfather is from Canada.
